PADI Enriched Air Diver (NITROX)\
We all want more no-decompression time right? The ability to stay longer at a given depth? Well that's why the PADI Enriched Air Diver is the most popular specialty dive course PADI offer. Enriched air, known commonly as Nitrox, is a blend of oxygen and nitrogen (the same as normal air) but with a higher oxygen percentage. Why? Well this means during a dive you are exposed to less nitrogen at a given depth therefore you absorb the nitrogen at a slower rate extending your no-decompression time. It means staying down longer, getting back into the water sooner between dives. Particularly handy if you are planning multiple dives or multiple days of diving. Most places around the world offer Nitrox airfills and you don't have to be an advanced diver to use it.
What you will learn
The course is theory based with a short practical session in store. If you desire we are more than happy to add open water dives (additional cost) to a course. During the course you will cover the following:

Advantages and disadvantages of diving with enriched air
Using the Recreational Dive Planner with enriched air
Managing oxygen exposure
Diving emergencies and enriched air
Analysing the gas mix in your tank
What you will need
Technically nothing if are are planning on just doing the theory and practical session, you already know how to dive. If you wish to plan dives into the course then you will need your own dive equipment which is available to hire. We supply Nitrox fills in store.
